Shipping Information
Traditions of Tao contracts with the United States Post Office (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS) for shipping. Rates vary based on weight, destination and shipping method.
All items in an order must be sent to the same “ship to” address. Please place separate orders for additional “ship to” addresses.
Expedited Shipping on Domestic Orders
Please call Traditions of Tao Customer Service at 1-800-772-0222 for expedited 2-day, 3-day and overnight shipping rates and services.
Change of Shipping Address
Traditions of Tao is not responsible for refunding customers whose package was lost because they neglected to update their shipping address. Customers who move should promptly log into their account and update their address before placing a new order.
Order Tracking
Customers will receive shipping confirmation along with a shipment tracking number to their email address.
Lost Orders
UPS and USPS shipments are not considered lost until the 15 business days after placement of the order. If 15 business days have passed and the order has not been delivered, Traditions of Tao can track and report back to the customer. Upon verification that an order has been lost or returned, Traditions of Tao can either reship or refund the order.
Delayed Orders
Neither Traditions of Tao nor any shipping carrier it uses, are responsible for any delays in product shipment caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including interruptions or delays due to inclement weather, natural disasters, terrorist attack or war.
Back Orders
Products on back order are noted by as “Out of Stock” on the Traditions of Tao website and will not be shipped or charged to the customer’s account.
Returns
At Traditions of Tao, your satisfaction is our number one priority. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with one, some or all of our products, you may return them to us for a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date.

If you are returning an item due to an error on Traditions of Tao’s part, we will refund your return shipping in addition to your returned products.
Please allow ten business days after your package arrives at Traditions of Tao for processing your return.
State and Local Taxes
Traditions of Tao has activities in each state of the United States and its territories that subject it to state and local laws that impose sales tax collection, therefore Traditions of Tao is required to collect tax on merchandise sold via the internet or otherwise. The appropriate taxes, based on “ship to” address, are based on the subtotal after any shipping and handling in all states with the exception of Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Oklahoma, where taxes are based on the merchandise total only.
